DSLR camera for beginner class category, the D5000 Nikon offers a very attractive feature. The ability of live-view and video with folding screen would be very helpful when taking pictures in difficult positions. The picture is also fairly good. Photos appear clean with minimal noise at high sensitivity up to ISO 3200. The resulting dynamic range was fairly good, and can be further enhanced with the help of Active D-Lighting feature. Customization was spelled out quite freely because you can configure itself to the parameters of the photo and save it as a custom setting. In addition, there are also quite interesting retouching facility to provide variations on the photo.
